Let's Get the Party Started!

Like many of our family celebrations, we made sure to celebrate Emily's 1st birthday in style, holding nothing back...so we celebrated for 2 full days! We had so much fun, and the birthday girl had a blast being around everyone she loves...and getting lots of new toys!

On Friday, Emily's official birthday, we had our local family over for dinner, presents, and birthday brownies. That day the birthday girl decided the excitement was too much for her, so she skipped her afternoon nap; this posed quite an over-tired toddler come birthday-time. But alas, after a relaxing birthday bath after dinner, she was out entertaining the family again, opening presents, and helping daddy set up her new kitchen. What fun it is to be 1!
