2 Engineers & A Baby

Recently, our washing machine broke due to operator error by none other than moi. I won't go into the details to spare embarrassment on my end, but it was completely non-functional.

So, enter my dad - mechanical engineer - who came over to help my hubby - electrical engineer - and the 'fix-it crew' was there to save the day. During this process, the baby became interested in all the fuss and of course, grandpa had to show her everything. I caught these priceless moments below of him showing her the 'guts' of the washing machine and explaining what they were up to. Unfortunately my hubby doesn't show up in these photos because he's on the floor evaluating the lower part of the washer. That's right, an electrical engineer hard at work.

At the end of the day, the washer was fixed, and the baby was entertained. Our favorite 'fix-it crew' pulls through again - thank you guys!

She looks SO uninterested!!! Maybe we need to start her on some math problems so she understands what grandpa's saying better ;)
