2 Year Birthday Party - Round 2!

Birthday party #2 took place on Sunday, June 3rd - Emily's actual birthday. My Grandma Pat's birthday is on June 6th (today), so we celebrated her 91st birthday as well.

The day started out with church, where Emily discovered and enjoyed "playing" the piano after the service was over. Then after playing in the nursery and coming home for nap time, it was time to party.....again!

The little birthday girl got a little mixed up during the gift-giving, offering several of her birthday presents to GiGi (great-grandma Pat)...mommy & daddy were so proud of her "sharing"(she also did this at her party on Saturday....sharing her gifts with her little friends...so sweet!)! We sang round two of "Happy Birthday to You," and this time she didn't cry (after breaking out into tears on Saturday when we sang!) - I guess a little birthday party practice makes perfect, right?!

This party rounded out the end of a fun, celebratory weekend. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family who participated in the birthday festivities - both near and far. Emily is such a special girl to us, and we are so blessed to share her big day with all of the people that mean the most to her!
