Emily Jayne Rabeler is such a precious, energetic, exuberant, vivacious little girl. She loves to be a helper and wants to do anything and everything that mommy and daddy are doing. If I'm in the kitchen cooking, Emily will be right there, pulling up a chair beside me and watching every move I make. She is very analytical and has an acute attention to detail. When something is new or out of place, she'll be the first one to tell you.
Emily loves car rides, especially when she gets to point out every train, bridge, and truck along the way (fortunately for her there are many of these on our way to church). She doesn't let any one of these go unnoticed and makes sure everyone in the car acknowledges seeing them.
She remains our little active toddler - always climbing, always running/never walking, and loving swimming on her own (with strong resistance if anyone tries to help). Baby/shallow pools bore her - she would rather be in the deep end of the big pool swimming around with her floaties.
Best of all, Emily is a passionate hugger. She absolutely loves giving hugs and kisses, melting mommy's heart when Emily awakes in the morning, and melting daddy's heart when he comes home from work. She is such a sweetheart, and we continue to love her to pieces!
